For beginners and veterans alike. Open any section you like.
On the title screen press "New Game", pick a server and create your character: choose a class (Knight, Archer, Mage or Cleric), a look and a name. You can have up to 3 characters and switch anytime.
The first time you play you can choose a UI design (Classic, Fantasy, Cute, Dark or Elven Forest). Change it anytime from Menu → Settings.
Move with the stick on the bottom left, attack with the big button on the bottom right, and use skills with the buttons around it. Walk up to people to talk. Shop screens open full-screen and lists scroll with your finger.
Press the attack key for normal attacks and skill keys for skills. Skills cost MP and have a cooldown. Skills interrupt normal attacks, and a skill pressed during another skill is queued.
Learn skills by reading Skill Books, sold at the magic shop or dropped by strong monsters. Assign learned skills to keys from the Set menu.
Enemies have defense that reduces your damage. Weak gear makes it hard to hurt them, so keep your equipment up to date. Some enemies are weak to certain elements.
Defeat monsters for EXP — hunting in areas near your level is most efficient. See the World Map for recommended levels.
In a party (up to 4), you get 30% of the EXP from enemies nearby allies defeat. Giant Beast Island is party-only. Voice chat is available in parties.
Open your bag (G), tap an item and press Use. Put frequently used items like potions on a shortcut for one-touch use.
